Scouting Comments Head Coach Cliff Farrar/805-640-0967/crfarrar@sbcglobal.net, Defensive Coord. Mike Rodriguez/mrod22@aol.com. Comments from Timo Lunceford Coach/Trainer/Mentor 805-340-7041 cell/timo@swissproductions.com "My name is Timo Lunceford and I have had the privilege of coaching, mentoring, and personally training David Olivier for the past 3 years. I have only seen a few young men in my time of coaching that are a complete package. What I mean is that this young man not only plays football, but his academics and study habits are stellar, as well as his integrity and character. He started out as one of my starting MLB for our freshmen team and did an outstanding job. He was hand chosen as a leader and team captain. He then moved to the JV, as I went to the varsity as Defensive Coordinator, the following year and took on the role of MLB and calling his own defensive plays according to the opponent’s offensive. He was able to see things and call them with no help from the coach, which showed tremendous leadership skills. The team all looked to him for direction and again, chosen as a captain. His junior year, he then started as MLB again and was able to duplicate what he had done as a sophomore. He was also chosen by the players to be on the counsel of 12 for the team. Now as a senior, David again, is a starting MLB, part of the teams chosen counsel and continues to lead his team."
