Marcus Simpson was a two-way starter in 2008 in his junior year as a defensive back and wide receiver. He was named First Team All-Conference as a Wide Receiver in the Mid-Penn Conference Commonwealth Division. He had 16 catches for 222 years (13.9 yards per catch) and a touchdown. On defense he had 25 tackles and 4 interceptions. Marcus is very athletic and has excellent quickness. He also has tremendous play-making ability. He has worked hard in the off-season to improve his strength and speed. He has also been a vocal leader for us in the weight room. For all these reasons, Marcus has the potential for an outstanding senior season and beyond.
