Derek is an extremely quick and well-conditioned football player. A three year starter, leading tackler, and punter (35.6 Yd career average on 28 punts), he exploded on the scene as a Junior, setting Haldane~~~s single season rushing record with 1,476 yards. Elusive and strong, Derek is a dangerous return man, averaging over 30 yards per return, including an 89 yard TD. Derek is an excellent all-around athlete, a three sport star who can be an impact college football player.
