Scouting Comments

#5 Parker Mays rolled through his senior year at Seattle Prep carving a path at the Wide Receiver position helping his team into the state playoffs and looking to earn a spot on a college roster. At 6~~~3" and 190 lbs Parker turns heads with 4.4 40 speed and a 36 inch vertical leap. He averaged 21.3 yards a catch, gained 938 all purpose yards for 8 TDs along with 40 Tackles and 1 interception this season. Parker earned All Conference Honors at Wide Receiver with an impressive junior season of 30 catches and 4 TDs. The son of NFL Great Stafford Mays and brother of former USC All American and current NFL Cinn Bengal Taylor Mays, Parker continues to develop his skills at wide receiver and defensive back. Head Coach D R Clausen, 206-850-1187, says "Parker will put in the hard work and will stay focused. He is a very easy going, coachable young man with great speed, big hands and has developed into an impressive receiver". He will again be adding his speed to Seattle Prep Varsity Track 4 X 100 Relay Team this spring. A solid student at a tough academic school, Parker has set his goal to earn a college degree in business. He is also a passionate young man who gives his time to help autistic students and volunteers to lend a hand with a variety of school and community projects. College coaches will be impressed with Parker as a student, an athlete and a humble, hard working young man. BW
