Bateman has the ideal height and weight that college coaches look for in a prospect, plus, he has the physical toughness to handle just about every situation. Bateman has been working extremely hard this off season to polish his already impressive skills, and he has been impressive at recent camps. Beyond the playing field Bateman has the type of leadership skills, and personal character, that will easily transfer to the college level. With a solid senior season Alex Bateman could be an excellent catch for the right college.
